Today I am going to connect the headlight cable to the projector. You need to plug the light bulb with the ballast and then plug into the projector. Whenever you put the light bulb in, you have to remove the grommet.

You slide the metal piece out, take it offset, it aside and then you put the bulb in. You just gently put it in until it gets up in it. There are some notches on the bulb that’ll fit into some holes and housing, and then once that’s in, you bring this piece back in and you spot the top part through the holes and the bottom touches in the bottom. What it’s doing is this pushing on the bulb constantly, it has constant pressure on the bulb, without the bulb it doesn’t really have anything there.

The bulb came with the little area, I just push it into the bulb to make sure it keeps a waterproof. There are a little tabs that stick out that hold it in place and you can push those tabs with a small screwdriver.

Once you push those tabs in the cable is essentially slide out and then once they slide out, it makes it really easy to take these small cables and push it through the little grommet and have it come out. It just into a plug-and-play, you just plug into the headlights and it takes the power.

I make it work, in this case, what’s going on is you got the signal coming in the middle is ground and then one of these cables is high beam and one of them is low beam.

When it goes on low beam essentially, it pushes all the power to the ballast which pushes the light power to the light turns on the light and everything is fine. Whenever protects a high beam it actually pushes a little signal back out this cable, it drops the cutoff switch and it still provides power to the ballast back to the light.
